Here in North Jersey, we're lucky to have some great programs and teachers who are really helping to raise the next generation of scientists and engineers. And one of the things that makes STEM education so important is that it teaches kids how to think like scientists and engineers. They learn how to come up with hypotheses and test them out. They learn how to ask questions and design experiments. And they also learn how to work together on projects. Our approach at SchoolAssemblies sm it to demonstrate "real world" uses of STEM education and offer k-6 students the chance to learn about things that will affect their lives now and in the future.
